// LEGAL / SIGNAL HANDLING
Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED 5 AUGUST 2026 — OPERATED BY MEMEMATRIX MEDIA, HOCKLEY COUNTY, TEXAS, USA
We collect what the generators need and not much else: your prompts, your account email, the memes you choose to save, and a short-lived counter so nobody hogs the machines.
No ad trackers, no data sales. Prompts do travel to third-party AI providers, because that is where the memes come from.
THIS PAGE IS MAINTAINED BY MEMEMATRIX MEDIA, HOCKLEY COUNTY, TEXAS, USA TO DESCRIBE HOW MEMEMATRIX AI OPERATES. IT IS OUR OWN STATEMENT OF PRACTICE — NOT LEGAL ADVICE, AND NOT AN INDEPENDENT CERTIFICATION OR AUDIT.
01 / WHO IS RESPONSIBLE
MemeMatrix AI is operated by MemeMatrix Media, Hockley County, Texas, USA. For privacy questions, requests or complaints, write to contact@memematrix.media.
02 / WHAT WE COLLECT
Account data. If you sign in: your email address, an internal user ID, and — if you use Google sign-in — the basic profile information Google returns (name, email, avatar).
Generation data. The prompts, captions, voice and video settings you submit, plus the resulting images, audio and video files when you choose to save them to your library.
Fair-use data. A short-lived record derived from your IP address so the rate limiter can count requests per visitor. It is used for limiting and abuse prevention, not profiling.
Operational logs. Standard request logs from our hosting and backend providers: timestamps, paths, status codes, user agent, IP.
Schedule data. For crew accounts: planned post slots, per-channel captions and statuses.
We do not sell personal data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build cross-site profiles.
03 / WHY WE USE IT
To run the generators and return your output; to store the library you asked us to store; to authenticate you; to enforce fair-use limits and the Acceptable Use Policy; to publish content you marked public or submitted for the broadcast; to keep the service secure and debug it when it breaks. Where a legal basis is required, ours is performing the service you requested, our legitimate interest in keeping it working, and your consent where you explicitly opt in.
04 / WHO PROCESSES IT
Generating a meme means sending your prompt to a model provider. We use third-party processors for these functions:
- AI text, image and speech generation (via our AI gateway provider)
- AI video generation (LTX)
- Video assembly and rendering (Shotstack)
- Database, authentication and file storage (our managed backend provider)
- Application hosting and CDN delivery
- Social platforms you ask us to post to
Each provider handles data under its own terms and may process it outside your country, including in the United States. Do not put confidential or personal information you would not want processed by a third party into a prompt.
05 / WHAT BECOMES PUBLIC
Content is private by default. It becomes public only when you mark a saved item public or it is selected for the daily broadcast. Public items may be displayed on this site, included in feeds, and posted to our social channels. Once something is posted publicly it can be copied and cached beyond our control.
06 / HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Saved library items and schedule entries are kept until you delete them or your account is deleted. Rate-limit records expire shortly after their window closes. Operational logs are kept for a short period by our providers for security and debugging.
Deleting your account removes your profile, your saved items and their stored files. Items already published publicly may remain in the broadcast archive and on third-party platforms.
08 / HOW IT IS PROTECTED
Traffic is served over HTTPS. Database access is restricted by row-level security policies so your private items are readable only by you and approved staff accounts. Generated media lives in a private storage bucket served through short-lived signed URLs. Provider API keys are held server-side and never sent to the browser. No system is perfectly secure, so we do not promise the impossible.
09 / YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR or Texas and other US state privacy laws, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Email contact@memematrix.media and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires. You can also delete individual library items yourself at any time.
10 / CHILDREN
The service is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11 / CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We update this policy when the service changes. The date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes are announced on the site.
